Notes
Disc 1 contains the re-release of Instant Classic 7" (1-2) Three Feet Behind Glass/Live At Budokan 7"ep (3-7), Transformational Salt LP (8-19).Disc 2 contains 2 early live performances. 1-6 live at Darlinghurst, Sydney 23 Oct. 1980, 7-16 live at the Cellblock, East Sydney 6 Feb. 1981.
The single and EP [tracks 1-7] were recorded straight to a Revox two-track owned by a housemate, Robert Parker. The b-side of the single "Deaf Dub" [track 2] was constructed on the tape machine in the lounge room at 87 Hordern St, Newtown. The single and EP were both released in 1979.
The LP [tracks 8 -19] was recorded at M-Squared in Surry Hills and released in 1981.
(In between we completed a side project, the 1980 Rhythmyx Chymx/Severed Heads shared LP: No Vowels, No Bowels/Ear Bitten.)
The custom pressings section of EMI, Sydney, produced all the vinyl: mastering, pressing and label printing.
