A Quiet Reverie | CD + BookThe piece is a sonic exploration of four ruined abbeys in North East England focusing mainly on the architecture, space, and surrounding natural environment. The soundscape is split into 5 distinct suites; Stone, Water, Wings, Blood and Mouth, and is accompanied by a companion 70 page book.
A Quiet Reverie was the winning work in the Sonic Art category of the British Composer Awards 2009. The work originally premiered at the IMT Gallery, London in 2008 and has also be played on BBC Radio 3 and Resonance Fm.
