"Milky War" was composed between 1997 and 2000 by the duo Flexxn (Bernd Heinrauch and Tarek Al-Ubaidi). The album was also recorded and mixed by the two artists, who, at this point in time, had already played together for about 7 years.The album-title Milky War actually stems from a typo in a new age article and probably meant to say Milky Way. In a way War is one of the central themes of the album. Not in a literal sense necessarily, although reflecting emotions and scenes of an outside world that lives on fear and enemies. However, thats just one of many possibilities on a most surprising and bewildering journey - curling up with long forgotten and never dreamt of tales of disaster and joy
