Notes
A 4 = acapella; org. title = "Your House"from her web site :
"Recorded in San Francisco less than 6 months after she first picked up the guitar, Tea and a Cookie is
Abbie's first "homemade" tape. She even made the cover the old fashioned way ... cut and paste baby!
The tape is a collection of mostly cover tunes and a couple of Abs' very first originals, recorded in live honest performances.
Some with a haunting echo that could only come from recording in a hospital stairway. James Brown sat in on a couple of the tunes with some kickass harmonica playin and also helped Abbie to put the whole she-bang together.
The title was inspired by one of Abbie's favorite pastimes: Sitting in cafes for hours, drinking tea and eating cookies."
