According to the Maya the end of their calendar would mean change and rebirth. For me, the album mark both the end and the beginning of something, and the songs are based on what I experienced in the autumn of 2012. The band No Brain Just Heart stands for choosing love instead of going about being scared. By loving yourself it is possible to let other people in and therefore love can spread. It is my firm belief that energies travel together so therefore love can grow, and you should never turn your back on flow (flow according to Csikszentmihalyi). When you meet opportunities that are new and fearful you should follow your heart and jump right into that new great adventure (even though it makes you loose control).
This album is dedicated to Amanda and to D. Amanda showed me a new path to love and nature while D, although meeting just twice, gave me the inspiration to many of the lyrics. Thanks to Markus and Jan-Erik Mattsson that helped me prerecord the songs Christmas 2012.. I will always be grateful for my lost cat Starbuck that lay beside me all those evenings while I was composing, RIP dear friend.
