Privately released on Windspell records, Michael Garrison's own enterprise.
Never released internationally through Ariola who were Michael's partners between 1981 and 1986 and only available through Windspell mailorder for a short time.
Allegedly, there were only 500 copies of the album pressed because Garrison was not at all satisfied with the sound quality since he had installed a new mixing desk shortly before recording "Point of Impact" without properly balancing line levels first.
In the early 1990s, some copies were rumoured to have changed hands among collectors at 800 Deutschmarks.
