Side 1: The opening title music followed by an Oboe variation which leads to the wine Drinkers who in their bucolic state see a Pastoral image which is dispersed by a military march.
Side 2: The Mayor of Clochmerle meets the Man from the Ministry who in turn are met by the Men from the Ministry only to be joined by more MEN FROM THE MINISTRY, wise Rose Bivague coyly following behind. This procession is followed by the Woodwind and Drums and the grand finale of the parade is the Military March.
