Surströmming was Olivier Philippe Durand's - aka Luddskalle - first attempt to brake through on the electronic scene.Even though this was a non-commercial release, it got incredible number of downloads (over 15000 for all tracks, with "Mini-Mål" and "On the Docks" ahead) on the download.music.com site, making Luddskalle reaching the 1st rank in the Techno and Minimal Techno categories.
