Near Tapes - "A solo project by Matthew Hopkins under the name 'Bad Tables'. The first Near Tapes release. 30 min cassette. Consists of layered found tape sounds, wind/organ loops, feedback loops and nonsensical made up language hymn style vocals. All this plonked on top of constant electronic percussion that builds from rhumba and cha-cha style drum beats to industrial drum machine sounds. Bad Tables has also released a CDR album on the Spanish Magic label."
