Notes
"Oktopussy" took two mid 2004 sessions to record in TipTop Studio and was produced by Robert Biaduń with Pankratz. The line-up for this recording was:S8N - brain, suspense, vocals, noise, fx
Pitolung13 - bass, math, ambience, noise
Bucy - drums, beer, cigarettes
Dodus - gtr, space
The album contains portions of sampled material, including some distorted English course dialogues, various lines from Stanley Kubrick's "The Shining" and John Glen's "Octopussy", an excerpt from Jim Jones' speech and a cut from final minutes of People's Temple "Deathtape", various radiowave sounds and weird noises created by weird people with weird objects.
Track #4 "Beautiful Song" is a cover of "Do Not Look Down On A Prisoner" by Tibetan nuns which they sung, recorded and smuggled on tape while imprisoned in one of chinese concentration camps, no one seems to care about these strange pre-olympic days.
Track #6 "Village Of The Damned" is strongly influenced by sf/horror movies of the 50s and 60s, mainly by Wolf Rilla's 1960 classic of the same name.
Track #10 "Ground Minus One" is a mutilation of "Dry Bones" by The Ink Spots.
With additional silence between tracks #10 and (hidden and unidexed) #11 "Inferno '67", total duration of "Oktopussy" in decimals is 66.6 minutes.
