Notes
On this record you can listen Estonian frogs and toads. All the recordings were made at springtime spawning places for the serial broadcast of Estonian Radio "ABCof Nature". The present selection was primary meant to be help for nature lovers at frog warching, whereby the peculiar charm of the frogs' voices was duty considered. The water frog Rana esculenta was snot included, as it is nowadays considered to be a hybrid of the pool frog and the marsh frog (side 1 and side 2)The recordings were made with stereo tape recoders Nagra IV s, Shoeps CMTS 501 U and pair of shotgun microphones C451 CB + CK8. The recordings were prepared at the Estonian Radio
