2009 is the year Pigeon Religion installed a pool at YOBS, then AK-47 drowned in it. That fateful year, I took these recordings at YOBS, the Manor, Trunkspace, Iron Lady, and the Tribe. This doesn't cover all the good shows, or places to see shows (such as the Slurp). These are the songs I was able to record and master. To me, they suggest a small part of what happens when we try to create something for ourselves in our streets.
2009 was also a year for great flyers made by troubled people. We have enclosed a few of our sleazy favorites. Again, this doesn't cover every flier out there. Ask your local punk historian.
