Release notes in German by Hank Ray/Tex Napalm, in English by Hank Ray:
"Back on February 5th, 1986 we were doing one of our usual rehearsals, working on some new songs for a studio recording session that was scheduled for the 15th & 16th of the same month. That studio session would produce demo versions of songs for the yet untitled successor to the Going Down To Death Valley album, that had been released by SPV records in September, 1985. We would come up with the title Desert Drive for our second album just a little later.
The line-up at that point of time featured Steven Webster on drums, who had just recently replaced "Machine" Perkins, Gary P. on bass, who had replaced Dee Dee the previous July, Martin Toulouse on guitar and me on vocal."
