Notes
As if designed or drawn, the ripples predict the return of water to the surrounding streams.The chorus of the emerald plants across the cove, the splendour of flowing rivers and trees in bloom. A cloak of solace upon the vital awareness of winter’s wake. In contemplation of preserving a dissolving panorama. A savage collection of survival without hesitation.
Shelter was recorded over various periods of time in 2015, 2016 and 2017 and includes field recordings made in Iceland (Reynisfjara), Scotland (Isle of Skye) and Vietnam (Phong Nha-Ke Bang). A double cassette presenting 80 minutes of new and reworked material.
