The only way open to us in January 91 to express our fear, is our music. Those who know the short history of AND ONE as a group will be aware that since early 1989 we have been musically analysing the theme ISLAM. This is not a pro or contra war song, just a musical dokumentation of our time. Most of the quotations used were taken from the very dramatic Senate vote which took place on Capitol Hill on the 11.1.1991. Both those in favour and those against war delivered very plausible and credible arguments. AND ONE can not take side either for or against a war because, as politically exiled Iranians, we have had to analyse the phenomenon Saddam Hussein over the past 10 years. Our real passion is however the environment and therefore Greenpeace will receive all the profit from this record in form of a donation. Our belief is that in times such as the present one, we should be able to think further than our own pride, greed and war-mongering.
