This recording features William S. Burroughts reading a draft of the story "Ali's Smile" that would later be published in "Exterminator!".The recording was originally issued as Ali's Smile, a one-sided LP in 1971 by Unicorn Books in Brighton, UK and was accompanied by a signed hardbound book. Though it was to be an edition of 99 copies, the publisher believes that less than 50 complete sets were ever released.
